  • How do I find my booklist?

To find your booklist simply go to our Booklist Search box on our homepage and choose your school from the dropdown panel and select your class. You will then be shown all the books and stationery items included on your booklist, you can then choose to add to basket the items you need.

If you can’t find your booklist and would like us to upload it then simply e-mail or fax your booklist to sales@coughlansbookshop.ie or 023-8833074 and we will arrange for it to be added to our system.

  • I can’t find a book on my list.

If you need any help with your order you can contact us at 023-8833068 or send us an email to sales@coughlansbookshop.ie. The easiest way to find a book on our website is to use the Search box at the top of the page if you still can't find what you are looking for, you can add a book to the comments box at the checkout and we will try and add it to your order.

  • Will you cover my books?

We are now offering FREE book covering for all text books purchased from our online store. We will size and fit all your text books with a high quality clear polypropylene wallet!

  • How soon will my purchases be delivered?

Our aim is to despatch orders within 24 hours within Ireland and delivery is normally 2-5 working days from date despatched (you will receive an email saying that your order has been despatched). We use Fastway Couriers for parcels and An Post for small packages.

  • How Much Do You Charge For Delivery?

We charge a flat fee of €5.00 for delivery to anywhere in the Republic of Ireland.

  • Can I order online and collect in store?

Yes, if you would like to collect your order in store simply select this option at the checkout. If you choose to use our free In Store Collection Service from our shop at 11 Rossa Street, Clonakilty please bring your confirmation email with you for verification. We will send you an email confirming that your order is ready for collection, during the months of June, July and August, please allow 5-10 working days for your order.

  • Can I return a product I no longer want?

If, for any reason, you are unhappy with your order and would like to return any item, we accept returns up to 28 days after dispatch, provided the goods are still in perfect condition and in the original wrapping. See our Returns Policy for further details.

  • Can I cancel or modify my order?

If you wish to cancel an order simply send us an E-mail and we will ensure you will get a full refund provided the books have not been dispatched.

  • Do you accept debit/credit cards? Are my payment details safe?

We accept all major debit and credit cards. We take every precaution to protect our customers’ information by using the most current and up to date internet security measures available. When our online order form asks you to enter sensitive information, such as a credit card number, that information is encrypted and is protected with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). If you want to call in your credit card information and complete your purchase by phone, you can.

We also accept purchase orders from schools and businesses that have established an account with us. Please contact us to arrange credit terms.

  • What happens if an item in my order is out of stock?

Sometimes items in you order may fall out of stock while we are processing your order. In this event, you will receive an email notifying you of a delay. If you have other items in your order, they will be shipped as scheduled, even if you selected "Send everything together" as your shipping preference. We will continue trying to fulfill your order as quickly as possible. If the order is still out of stock 30 days after the first email is sent, you will be asked to approve a 30-Day Order Extension. If you do not approve the extension, this part of your order will be canceled within 24 hours. Remember, you can cancel your order at any time.

 

  • What are your shop opening hours?

Our opening hours are 9am – 6pm, Monday to Saturday.
